Coronavirus (Covid-19) Travel Advice

Service levels:

JustGo is running during its usual service hours with the same number of buses as normal. However, capacity is reduced to ensure everyone has enough space to travel safely. As rides are booked in advance, we can easily manage capacity on board. All payments must be made in advance to reduce contact with drivers and to limit handling of cash.

Update 4 January 2021: England has entered a national lockdown with restrictions in place on reasons for travel. Please take into account government guidance booking your ride. If you have already booked a ride and can no longer travel, please cancel your ride on the app or get in touch with us as soon as possible, as this will free up space for those making essential journeys.

Who can travel?

Please check government guidance before booking your journey. Travel may take slightly longer than normal due to social distancing measures, so please allow more time for your ride, especially if your journey involves changes between different forms of transport.

Face coverings:

You will have to wear a face covering for your full ride, including when boarding and alighting. This does not have to be a face mask – a face covering can be as simple as a scarf, snood or bandana as long as it fully covers your nose and mouth for the full journey. Hand sanitiser:

You should wash your hands or use hand sanitiser before and after every journey. We provide hand sanitiser on buses and ask you to use it before taking your seat. It is also good practice to carry your own hand sanitiser with you at all times.

Social distancing:

Please remember social distancing at your meeting point and destination, and on board the bus. Board one at a time and give your driver plenty of space.  Follow any safety information displayed on board and only sit with members of your household or bubble. Do not travel if you feel unwell.

Extra cleaning:

We have enhanced cleaning regimes, with extra cleaning of high touch points such as handrails and seats. We also use regular disinfectant ‘fogging’ of buses to ensure nowhere is missed.
